Supporting families in the licensed trade

We know that sometimes, when times are tough, you may need financial help to provide a better future for your children. To help you in this situation, we have several grants available. Our aim is to provide practical help for you so that your children can make the most of their education. Our support includes funding for:

  • School uniforms
  • Specialist course equipment
  • School transport
  • Compulsory or curriculum-related school trips
  • Counselling for education-related issues
  • School meals
  • Laptops
  • Text books and class materials
  • Learning aids
  • Advocacy for SEN appeals
  • Extra-curricular activities
  • Support for gifted children

Our grants are available to parents or legal guardians who are working or have worked in licensed trade for five years continuously. As part of our support process, we will arrange one of our Charity Services Volunteers to visit you. The visit’s purpose is to help us understand your situation and to make sure we provide you with as much support as possible, right from the beginning.
