With more than 230 years of heritage and honoured to have HM The King as its Patron, this marks a positive and carefully planned next chapter in the school’s development.
The move builds on a long-standing and trusted relationship between Claires Court and LVS Ascot, developed over many years through shared educational priorities and mutual respect.
Claires Court’s decision to join the group represents a carefully planned and positive step, reflecting shared values, educational philosophy, and a long-term commitment to high-quality, pupil-centred education.
Importantly, this change of ownership has been made from a position of strength. Extensive financial, legal, and educational due diligence has confirmed that the decision is firmly in the best interests of the school community.
Education that supports our mission
The schools within the LTC Education Group play a vital role in the Charity’s wider work. Alongside LTC’s portfolio of investments and properties, they generate sustainable income that is reinvested directly into the Charity. This model allows LTC to ensure that 100% of donations go straight to supporting people working in, or previously employed in, licensed hospitality.
Welcoming Claires Court into the group strengthens this model further, helping to protect the long-term future of the Charity while increasing the support we can offer to those who need it most.
This approach sits at the heart of LTC’s mission: Transforming Lives, Unleashing Potential.
A positive step built on strong foundations
Claires Court is a well-established, values-driven independent school with a strong sense of community and a clear educational ethos. Its decision to join the LTC Education Group was taken from a position of confidence and following extensive financial, legal, and educational due diligence.
The move a positive and proactive step that brings together shared values, a long-term outlook and a commitment to education that changes lives.
As part of the LTC Education Group, Claires Court will retain its identity, ethos, and day-to-day operation, while benefiting from the stability, governance and long-term planning that come from being part of a charitable organisation with more than 230 years of heritage.
Strengthening our ability to support the hospitality community
For LTC, this growth directly supports our core purpose. By strengthening the Education Group, we are reinforcing the Charity’s long-term sustainability and increasing our capacity to help people across the licensed hospitality sector.
Each year, LTC supports tens of thousands of people through free, confidential services, from financial grants and practical guidance to mental health and wellbeing support. Expanding our education provision helps ensure this support remains available, accessible, and resilient for the future.
Looking ahead
The addition of Claires Court is something to celebrate. It reflects LTC’s commitment to responsible growth, strong governance and creating impact that reaches far beyond individual settings.
As the Charity continues to evolve, our focus remains the same: supporting people to live well, work well and thrive, and ensuring that help is there when it is needed most.
