FAQs

What is the JOGLE Pub Run?

The LTC JOGLE Pub Run is a 30-day endurance fundraising relay from John O’Groats to Land’s End, taking place from 13th July to 11th August 2026 and organised by The Licensed Trade Charity.

Each day, two ultra marathon runners will complete a stage of the route together, with every stage exceeding marathon distance. The average daily distance is 32 miles, with the longest day measuring 36.85 miles.

Alongside the core ultra runner challenge, The LTC JOGLE Pub Run Community Days will invite hospitality teams, local communities and supporters to get involved by running, jogging, walking, volunteering or cheering the runners on at designated points along the route.

Supported by Lucky Saint, Avani Solutions, Thatchers Cider, Star Pubs and Punch Pubs the campaign is designed to celebrate hospitality, promote wellbeing, strengthen communities and raise vital funds for people working in the licensed trade.

Who can take part?

What pace will the event be run at?

All participant legs are designed to be social, supportive and flexible. Participants can run, jog or walk their chosen distance. The focus is on community and participation rather than speed.

Will there be pub stops along the route?

Yes, pubs are at the heart of this campaign. Many stages will start, finish or pass by pubs where supporters can gather, cheer participants on, and take part in activities.
