Demand for Licensed Trade Charity Support More than Trebles

 With the anniversary of the first lockdown (23 March 2020) approaching, figures from the Licensed Trade Charity released today (16 March 2021) show that the number of people in need of its support more than trebled during 2020 compared to the previous year (218% increase).

Over £1m Of Grants Given To Drinks Trade Staff In 2018 As We Reveal Over 13,000 People Helped Last Year

Staff from pubs, bars and breweries received a record amount of £1.1m in grants from the Licensed Trade Charity in 2018, helping them to get back on their feet in a range of ways from clearing rent arrears and unpaid bills to home adaptations, educational grants and even convalescence and funeral costs.
