LTC Wellbeing Calculator

The LTC Wellbeing Calculator is designed to help you work out the costs of poor health and wellbeing to your hospitality business. It can help you to create a business case for taking action to improve the wellbeing of your people. The LTC wellbeing calculator is divided into three key sections:

 

Part 1 – what are the costs of employee absenteeism

Part 2 – how much can I save if I invest in employee wellbeing

Part 3 – how much could my bottom line benefit from investing in wellbeing

Calculating the annual cost of employee absenteeism

(include full-time and part-time equivalent e.g. 2 x 16 hours per week = 1 full-time team member)

If you don’t know, then the latest LTC research* tells us that the average for a licensed hospitality business is 3 days)

(If you don’t know, you can use calculations from the LTC research; 8-hour shift x £12.21 NLW = £97.68. This is a baseline as higher salaries and lost revenue will increase this cost.)
