Counselling Support Through Relate

We are pleased to be able to offer Couples, Children (aged 5-10) and Young People (aged 11-18) counselling to licensed hospitality people delivered by the leading relationship charity, Relate.

At LTC, we understand that relationships, with partners, family, friends and colleagues, play a significant role in our wellbeing. When challenges arise, seeking support can help people navigate those moments with greater clarity and confidence.

We are proud to offer access to counselling services through Relate, the UK’s leading relationship support charity. These services are available free of charge to those currently working in, or retired from, the licensed hospitality industry.

Counselling is delivered by qualified professionals via webcam or telephone, providing flexible, confidential support in a way that suits each individual or family’s needs.

Children and Young People’s Counselling (Ages 5–18)

Relate provides dedicated counselling support for children and young people dealing with emotional or psychological difficulties. These sessions are designed to help young people explore feelings, develop coping strategies, and gain confidence in a safe, supportive environment.

Counselling may be beneficial for issues such as:

  • Anxiety or depression
  • Anger management
  • Parental separation or family breakdown
  • Bullying or social isolation
  • Loss or bereavement
  • Peer and teacher relationships
  • Self-esteem concerns

Where appropriate, a counsellor may also speak with a parent or guardian before sessions begin to gather context and ensure the right support is in place.
