The Licensed Trade Charity operates on three sites Ascot, Hassocks in West Sussex and Begbroke in Oxfordshire.  Our charity has a great office based at our Ascot School site.

We have a central support function for everything we do.  There are around 25 people within central support but we do have vacancies occasionally (people don’t like to leave us!).

Each of our three schools offers unique and outstanding facilities.

Marketing Co-ordinator – to start January 2019 (Maternity cover)

Hours: Monday – Friday 09.00 – 17.00, 35 hours a week, based in Ascot 

The Licensed Trade Charity is a national charity that provides an excellent range of support services to people who may be facing tough times. We support people that work or have worked in pubs, bars, breweries and night clubs. We were established in 1794 but have changed out of all recognition since those times.

We have a Marketing Coordinator role within the busy marketing team here at the Licensed Trade Charity. A pivotal role in the Marketing Department, working across all of our brands: –

The Licensed Trade Charity, LVS Ascot, LVS Hassocks and LVS Oxford.

The post holder will be able to effectively manage our events, the creation of brand collateral and digital content for events, projects, our CRM for membership, fundraising and support the marketing team.  Suitable candidates will have office and event management experience along with advanced skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and Power-point. Excellent inter-personal skills and be confident to communicate with a number of internal stakeholders at all levels of the business.

Human Resources Administrator – to start January 2019

Hours: Monday – Friday 09.00 – 17.00, 35 hours a week, based in Ascot 

We are seeking a new HR Administrator to join our busy team, assisting with general HR functions and administration.  This role will suit someone who enjoys administration, has great attention to detail, enthusiasm and empathy and who really cares about doing a good job. This is a support role, with a strong operational focus and the scope to learn and develop HR knowledge. There will also be the opportunity to be involved in projects that make a difference to everyone in the Charity and our 3 Schools, LVS Ascot, Hassocks and Oxford.

Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy are essential, combined with a flexible “can do” attitude and the desire to provide excellent customer service with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, coupled with a logical, calm approach and the patience to pursue a query.  Suitable applicants must be computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Office and databases.
