As Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will take the lead in an organisation that is a vital part of the licensed hospitality community. LTC has supported significant numbers of people over its 230 year history, including thousands of people through the pandemic, and whose brand awareness is on the rise. As we look to the future, you will help us to build on recent gains, value our heritage, reach more people that could benefit from our help and build strong industry relationships.
It’s estimated that around 250,000 people working in pubs, bars, breweries and the wine and spirits industries are in need of support at any one time. Our charitable work is funded by our commercial operations and investments, as well as through our partnerships with commercial organisations in the industry.
The LTC prides itself in providing an outstanding education for the young people at our three schools. LVS Ascot is an all ability independent day and boarding school for girls and boys aged 4-18, within which our head office is located. We also have LVS Oxford and LVS Hassocks both of which are specialist independent schools for children aged 11-18 with a diagnosis of autism.
As CEO you will be a dynamic and progressive leader who understands and values our heritage. You will provide a vision for future growth and success and be the guiding force for the LTC. With responsibility for the LTC’s strategic plans, you will ensure we meet our goals while keeping our values to the forefront of our work. You will oversee our business
activities and the financial health of the Charity. You will exemplify good governance and under your inspirational leadership the LTC will continue to prosper.
As an excellent communicator, you will build great relationships, becoming the face of the LTC and raising the Charity’s profile further, while acting as a point of contact for partners and senior leaders in the drinks industry.
You will oversee and participate in the governance of the Charity working closely with Trustees, the Governing bodies and the Committees. You will understand that achieving our goals requires a supported, motivated and engaged senior team.
As a skilled senior manager or CEO, you will bring outstanding leadership and an entrepreneurial mindset. Whatever your background, you will have commercial and operational expertise, plus a record of implementing business vision. You can draw on knowledge of corporate finance, performance management, corporate governance and management best practice to develop profitable strategies and deal with commercial business functions. Analytical and organised, you are a natural problem-solver, with excellent people skills.
