Brexit - Advice for those working in the licensed trade
As the uncertainty surrounding Brexit continues, the future of EU citizens working in the licensed trade in the UK is just as unsure.
Statistics from the House of Commons Library say that in 2016, 12% of the food and beverage service industry was made up of EU citizens, which equated to nearly 160,000 people.
The government has made it clear EU citizens will be allowed to continue living in the UK until June 2021, after which this category of person will have to apply for “settled status”.
