The Licensed Trade Charity is an organisation founded over 200 years ago by people running pubs who wanted to take care of others who were less fortunate within their industry.

There are many occupationally based charities like ourselves, set up around the same time, who continue to provide support and services to those working in a particular industry. Please refer to the Turn2us website for a full list.

Our activities now are for those both outside of the licensed trade and within it.  Our vision for all of our activities is:

to equip people to be self-reliant and achieve their personal best.

And we do this by:

• Running independent schools that give children the best start in life - LVS Ascot and LVS Hassocks.
• Providing support and care for people who have worked in the licensed drinks trade, facing a difficult time. See our Support & Care website
