The Licensed Trade Charity currently owns two schools, LVS Ascot www.lvs.ascot.sch.uk, a day and boarding co-educational school for 4-18 year olds and LVS Reading (The Elvian School)www.elvian.reading.sch.uk, a co-educational day school for 3-18 year olds.

The charity will be opening a third school in the Summer Term 2009, called LVS Hassocks in West Sussex. This will be a co-educational day and boarding school for children and young people from 8-17 year olds, who have communication, socialisation and imagination difficulties (CSID).

One of the Licensed Trade Charity's objectives is to educate those children from the general public, with preference to those working in the licensed drinks trade. The LTC offers the following assistance for parents wishing to send their children to one of the charity's schools.

LTC Members

Annual Members receive a 20% discount against school fees. These discounts are available regardless of status.

Bursaries

The LTC offers bursaries to children attending its schools. Bursaries are available to people who work, or have worked, in the licensed drinks trade and for children from the ages of 5 to 18. The assistance can include a contribution to the fees through to a full bursary plus academic extras, which could include things such as school trips, textbooks etc. Bursaries are means tested and applicants are required to provide full financial information for consideration by the LTC's Welfare Committee.

Scholarships

Pupils have the opportunity to apply for scholarships at various stages of their school career.
