Memorabilia – Helping us to raise funds
A new and easy way of fundraising has recently been launched by the LTC – through items of memorabilia or 'collectables'.
People have a growing interest in antiques and collectables and we are therefore asking anyone who has items of memorabilia to donate them to the LTC. The proceeds of the sale of these items to collectors will then help to support those in the licensed trade who have reached a crisis in their life. We will acknowledge those who donate to us.
The sort of old advertising and promotional items we would appreciate are:
• pictures or posters
• pub/bar fittings
• mirrors
• stoneware & glassware e.g. flagons, pub water jugs, old match strikers, ashtrays
• old beer bottles especially full & labelled/beer bottle labels
• commemorative bottles of beer full & labelled e.g. Silver Jubilee & Royal Wedding
• discontinued pump clips
Have a look in your cupboards, archives, attic and garage etc to see if you have any of these items which collectors would consider a privilege to own and raise funds for the LTC whilst preserving the trade's social history.

Fundraising
The life blood of any charity is Fundraising without it charities could not survive, so whilst we are able to call upon reserves we also have to rely on support from all those who work in the licensed drinks trade.
The LTC gives out over £1 million a year to its many beneficiaries, not an insignificant amount of money to raise.
We rely on members, supporters and corporate support to help us raise the funds required. This can be done in a number of ways:-
By making a single donation or through a regular monthly amount, if you gift aid this the LTC receives from the Government 28p for every pound you donate. If you would like to make a donation click here.

Become a member of the LTC and one of the LTC Regional Fundraising Committees, this is a very positive way for you to become active and help us raise awareness and funds.
